A few months ago I mentioned that I was one of five lucky bloggers to win a year-long scholarship to America's Test Kitchen's Online Cooking School. So far I've had the chance to try out a few of their courses and I have to say they're pretty fantastic. But that's no surprise to me since I'm one of America's Test Kitchen's biggest fans.
The courses are easy to follow with guaranteed amazing results. You can find my guest blog post about the Best Chicken Soups course here. The homemade chicken stock and soups were some of the most delicious I've ever tasted.
In addition to winning a scholarship, ATK was generous enough to provide me with two 2-month enrollments to give away to my readers. I hope you get as much out of the courses as I have.
Here's how to enter:
In one sentence, leave a comment telling me why you want to win the cooking school enrollment. Conciseness counts here! Any entries more than one sentence will be disqualified. The two entries I find to be the most genuine, creative or funny will win. You must leave your email address in the comment as this is the only way I can contact you if you're a winner.
Giveaway ends on Friday July 6, Noon PST and winners will be announced by Sunday July 8.
Only one entry per person.
Good luck and happy cooking!

Id love to be able to WOW my family with my new culinary skills. Jansandeson70@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI want to win 'cos it's expensive to study culinary arts.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to participate in the cooking school because providing food that is made with love and care is one of the best ways to show someone that they are special and of course when it tastes good, that's a cherry on top! mlhdau@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI want to take this course w/o my hubby's knowledge and then surprise him big time him when I make something for dinner other than my usual spaghetti or tuna casseroles!
ReplyDeleteIt's usually the young folks who win, and I'd love the opportunity to represent the, um, more mature (and recently relocated from West to East) contingent out there. flourgirlm@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteBecause great food is better than good food, and I want to cook great food. danielsimmons55@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteBecause being a graduate student doesn't mean I have to live down to the reputation of subsisting on fast food, ramen, and anything up for grabs in the department lunch room refrigerator. torsui@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI want to win so that my kids won't be able to complain about my cooking when they head to college in a few years. houseofclay@juno.com
ReplyDeleteI'd like to win the cooking school enrollment so I can stop drooling on my computer screen and learn to cook that delicious-looking chicken noodle soup! jlmccle@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win the cooking school enrollment because not only do I already use ATK's materials as a cooking bible (no joke, only this bible is covered in grease spatters) but I'd get the chance to improve my skills and share them with the world as I teach others to cook. fry.lauren@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this because when the zombie apocolypse comes and I only have an overripe orange and a can of baked beans to survive on, I would like to rely on my mad America's-Test-Kitchen-learnt skills to survive with the tastiest dishes possible (for me, not the zombies). adichappo@maximumedge.com
ReplyDeleteCooking is a lost art in my generation of 20-30 somethings and I would like to stop that trend!

We eat through the best of times, we eat through the worst of times, and unless I want to turn the former into the latter, I need to cook all those celebratory or comfort-providing foods with an understanding of solid ATK-supplied culinary foundations.

I would love to win because after enrolling in a 2 day Baking101 Boot course at Kendall Culinary College in Chicago (finding out 15 minutes before the class was cancelled), I ended up taking the Savory101 Boot course and discovered my steep learning curve due to HOW LITTLE I KNOW.

ReplyDeleteI would like to gain more confidence in my cooking abilities and learning the tricks from the pros would definitely give me the boost I need to start cooking more often and eating out less.
ReplyDeleteI want to win because my husband, who went to culinary academy, thinks that my cooking sucks and I want to prove that he is wrong and that I actually CAN cook!
ReplyDeleteMy email is ponilinda [at] g mai l [dot] c om
I need all of the help that I can get because I can even burn water.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know that a lot of online culinary schools encourage people to know more about the tips in cooking. Cool. :)
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of ATK, too! I was just filling out my profile on allrecipes, and they have a question about your biggest kitchen disasters. And I realized I've had hardly any! I am completely not an intuitive cook on my own, but between their fool-proof recipes, recommended ingredients, and equipment reviews, I seriously never have anything go majorly wrong. I just had to reflect on how amazing that is, thanks to them. Sure I make mistakes occasionally, but the recipes themselves are nearly fool-proof if followed as written, and I'm so grateful for that!
ReplyDeleteThey are now looking-you should simply make it simple for them to track down you. https://onohosting.com/
